I've been watching Craigslist for a deck that will work with my B7610 and I understand the only model that will work is the RCK60-24B.

I was able to locate one relatively close to my location but I'm not familiar with how this thing needs to mount to the belly of the tractor and/or if it will come with what I need (I'm assuming different model tractors use different brackets).

Does anybody have any experience with the combination and can they tell me what I would need for brackets and would it be possbile to fabricate them? Also what are your opinions on the cutting quality of the deck?

Basically I just don't want to spend the money on the deck and have trouble getting it setup.

Thanks in advance.

There is a bracket that is bolted to the front of the frame, plus some portion of the mower is connected in the mid-section of the tractor at two points. If the tractor that the deck is on right now does not have a loader there is a bracket that is installed to the belly of the tractor. The loader bracket replaces that piece and the middle linkages attach to that.

If you are buying a deck that came off of a B7510 or 7610 (possibly from a B7500 too) it should go right onto your tractor. Have the owner hook it up on his/her tractor. All the points that attach the mower to the tractor are required to attach to another machine and I think should be part of the sale if the items are available. You could fabricate them but I think that would be a pain.

I hope this helped.

Just for kicks I just checked the NH CL and I saw a deck there with no attachments. If that is the one you are thinking of buying call your dealer first and ask how much the brackets would cost. You would need the rear linkage pieces (2) and the bracket that bolts onto the front of the tractor. These are the things I can think off the top of my head I'm sure there is more. I bet it is $ few hundred.

I'm sure you saw the exact same one I was looking at and I had a feeling something was probably missing. I will definitely call my dealer.

Thanks so much for the info, that's exactly what I needed to know.

jfhall - Pages 3-4, 17-18, 23-24, and 25-26 of the attached PDF file show the attachment parts for mounting the RCK60-24B to a B7500.

Best wishes!

Pinnacle View Equipment in Walpole, NH, and Townline Equipment in Plainfield NH also have used decks for your tractor I believe, and probably the mounting hardware as well. I agree that fabricating those parts would be a pain since some of them are really thick forged parts.

We wish we had the RCK60 :(

The extra 6" would come in VERY handy when cutting 1.5Ac.
