- 2008 Kubota M7040 4WD w/loader, 1979? Mitsubishi D2600 4WD w/loader
I posted this in the Mitsubishi forum but there is not many people there and only one responded so I am posting here sinse a cluch is a cluch, more or less.
It is not really the cluch that is the problem. It is a Mitsubishi D2600 (30hp) tractor that is an early 80s model I believe. When I went out to use it this afternoon it started up fine but when I pushed in the cluch peddle it didn't feel right (to soft) and when I tried to put it in gear it ground as if I hadn't pushed the cluch in. This makes me think it is not the cluch itself but the linkage or something and the cluch is not disengaging.
It sounds to me very like what 3RRL described in this thread. I don't know what you guys think about this?
I tried starting it in gear and pushing against an immoveable object with the cluch peddle pushed all the way in but it just dug three holes with the tires. (thanks 284 International)
Any ideas what it is that is broken or not working right?
