Missing Nuts AND Bolts

I'm sorry, I made the wrong assumption that you had contacted your dealer first, before putting problems on a "public forum" first. I have had zero problems with the Mighty TC18. But theoretically if it were an Orange tractor and it started falling apart with less than 5 hours on it, I would not have informed the board before I informed the dealer. That's why I suggested that you get more assertive...with a dealer that I thought might have jerked you around a bit.

Kubota has a long standing quality reputation and I would be very concerned about this particular machine that has these problems so early in its service career!

Sounds like the tractor was made on a Monday morning or a Friday afternoon! I do think the dealer prep should have caught some of the nut & bolts. I usually check the major fasteners (during my 100 service) like the loader mounting bolts, backhoe mounts, wheel lugs etc.

I think you hit the nail right on the head! The tractor took three days to prep. They started on Friday and finished it on Tuesday. My dealer was not real happy with his mechanic. They went the extra mile and even washed the tractor before they brought it back to me yesterday. So far, all of the factory fasteners have been fine so I can't really say that the tractor was made on a Monday or Friday. Time will tell.

I wonder if we bought from the same dealer, my 2710 had the same problem. I almost lost the whole boom assembly from the backhoe in the first 15 minutes of use. Ditto for the loader. The only bolts that didn't loosen are the factory assembled ones on the tractor itself. I was VERY disappointed, in fact that is my only gripe or problem in 115 hrs of use so far.
