I found a need for mirrors in moving boats in and out of my service shop, for the larger boats it was just too hard to tell where you were going.
This is what I came up with... 6' 2" to the bottom of the mirrors, at least I wont be conking my head on em lol. They are very adjustable and can be tucked in close to tractor for tight spots.

Did you use flat or convex glass? I made a set to use on my Jeep when the doors were off, and used convex and it made a world of difference in usability. Convex mirrors in that size usually just have a mild to moderate dome so it is easy to see objects without them looking tiny and far away. Square and rectangular can be a little hard to find, but they are out there. Truck-Lite markets a 6.25 x 8 in black and SS.

Flat mirror was all that I needed. I used the same type angle iron that was used in the canopy framing for the mirror arms. So it matches quite well with the canopy. My dad thought I bought em...

bird... thanks
