Looks excellent! I have one my self has the 12/12 Reverser transmission on it also. Yours is in way better condition than mine. My Ag tires the front are at 5% Rears are at 35% I would say. About 2750 Hours on it, I guess I should be looking at new tires soon. Seat looks good as my new seat I got at 2500 hours :) Good luck on the sale. Whats that little thing under the loader joystick that has 3 little ridges on it?

Thanks Edward!

This thing where the yellow arrow is pointing to, right? That is the rocker switch that opens and closes the grapple.

Are you writing about the rubber boot at the bottom of the loader joystick?
I've looked at the pics on the Private Party ad...can't see anything with 3 ridges by the differential lock.

That is one fine looking 4700. I wish I could afford it!!
Of course, I'm using a 35 HP Deere 4400 (also a reverser transmission) on 2.5 acres. It's not like I need another 10 HP!!!! But it would fit nicely in my garage (right next to the cot I'd be sleeping on if my wife found out I bought it).
Sweet machine you have there!

One thing pclausen lists in his ad are the two rear working lights. I have these too...and they do put out significant light.

Oh, in the seat pic you mean? That's the lockout for the FEL. When in the lower position, the joystick is locked and can't be moved. This is a safety feature that prevents someone from accidentally moving the joystick with the FEL raised. I never use mine as I always lower the FEL to the ground after each use.

This thing, right?

Thanks Roy. At 14hp per acre, I think you have one of the highest hp to acre ratios on this forum. :D

Probably...actually, what I bought was that 12F/12R Reverser transmission...it just happened to have a 4400 attached to it!

Since I also maintain (brush cut) a 3-4 acre right of way, my acreage to HP ratio is only about 6 HP per acre.

Lol, roger that Roy. I love the PowrReverser, especially when doing loader work and looking forward to still have that with my 5085M as well. I got the modulation option, which will allow me to tweak how quickly the "clutch" is engaged when changing directions.

I have 20 acres, but will be maintaining another 30 acres down the road now that my father passed away (tragic tractor rollover accident on his Ford 1910 I posted about last summer). I got a 9 month old daughter and I just found out my wife is pregnant again, only this time with twins! So I need a bigger tractor so that I can get my "land maintenance chores" done quicker, so that I'll have more availability to help my wife with the rapidly expanding family. Yep, that's my story and I'm sticking to it. :D

In all seriousness, the one option my wife insisted I get on the new tractor was a buddy seat, and that meant going with the 5M series. I was happy to oblige. :)

Power Reverser is great. Got it in the 5410. The 10 year old version of your tractor that's coming.

Sorry to hear of your loss. These toys we have can be very dangerous.

And yes, it does suck when the wife makes you get such a nice tractor:laughing:
