mini eccavator coupler

I have a Kubota KX41-2, I looked at a few places for a quick coupler, everything attachments, amulet and several other sites, I then went to my local dealer who is quite helpful when he can be, but he could not find one. This one popped up on ebay, had the right pin diameters and the spacing was close, it listed my machine so I ordered it. It doesn't fit and won't unless I grind the heck out of the welds, which I assume are over size. Does everyone have to fit their couplers or do they just pin right on?

ground the welds down on either side, the second set of mounting holes that I won't ever use are in the way now, but going to test out on a craigslist special first.

My JCB8029 came with the mechanical quick attachment included. I assume it came right from the factory as an option. Fits perfect and no sign that any grinding was performed to make it fit. It does add a little length to the stick. I would not want to be without it. It makes changing buckets a one man job from a two man job. It has a JCB part number on the tag. My thumb was installed by the dealer and it was made by TAG which is a US company that makes buckets and attachments. The quick hitch is the part circled in the picture and came with pins included. I would think that Kubota offers something very similar that would be a direct fit to your machine.

From watching excavator videos and such I would love to have a Kubota quick change coupler like the slightly new and bigger machines have, I could not find one for my dinky pins which are 25mm. My local Kubota dealer could not find one, he said it would have been easier if it had been available when the machine was new which was 1998 or so. I looked at everything attachments, amulet mfg, Werk-brau makes one and its very similar and twice as much money. The local wb dealer in franklin ct wanted 1900 plus shipping, out west there is one for 1200 plus shipping. This one will work, given some adjustments to my CL bucket. I am also making a ripper attachment which is why I need one. Playing with shims is fine in the garage I'd lose pieces for sure in the woods.

I use the factory quick coupler on my KX91 - works PERFECT and fits everything that is the Kubota standard perfect.
Your 41 has one made by the factory it appears: PART # 70091-00157

So close, and I would buy it, but my pins are 25mm which is .984". 70091-00158 PIN,LINK & STICK w/ZERK(1.179x8 1/4) & 70091-00160
PIN, LOCKING (3/4x8 7/16). the 41-3's have bigger pins, mine is 41-2, Thank you for your help never saw those.

Crap. I missed the -2 not -3.... My bad!
Wonder if a machine shop could mod it to work for you? Sure would open up a wealth of buckets.
I LOVE the quick attach on my KX91 - can switch the bucket in about 1 minute. Really lets you use the correct bucket for each job because it is so fast and easy to change them.

Not at all. Thank you for looking. I took off the small extra weld so it fits between the ears of my orange bucket, I am making ears for the ripper and the

black bucket. It will work, just not yet.

That is a cool little machine and in nice shape. Bet if is GREAT for working around homes and in tight spaces.
You will love having a ripper, been looking for one for our machine but they are expensive little suckers, but oh so handy!
