Looking to purchase my first tig machine. I took a local welding class and haven't done much with tig welding but I would like to purchase a machine and start learning with it. I'm looking for a machine that I won't grow out of so soon. I really don't have any big plans right now as to what I would mainly be using it for. It would just be used around my property for what ever comes up. Down the road I might want to do some metal art etc. I have googled other brands and I just want to stay with either Miller or Lincoln. I'm debating between the Miller Diversion 180 and the Lincoln Tig 200. Price wise I will be able to get them both for within $25.00 of each other with rebates etc. I have a Miller 211 for mig welding and would like to stay with Miller but the Lincoln just seems like it offers more when comparing these two machines. Please let me know what your 0.02 is on what you would recommend and why you think one would be better to purchase over the other.
