I have a B2620. The foldable Rops, has three settings; fully raised, mid, and fully lowered. What is the mid setting for? Can I use it when mowing - will it offer protection in the event of a rollover? The full up setting won't fit through my 7' garage (barely, its about 1" too high). I've already hit the header of the garage once, and don't want to go through that again, so I'd rather set it and forget it. The owner's manual doesn't really address this. Any thoughts?

WHAT!?!? You hit the ROPS on your garage door frame? How is that possible?

Whoops, sorry that happened to you. I don't know if the middle setting is any more protective than fully down. If it makes you feel any better, I smoked my DirecTV HDTV dish when I snagged the edge of it with my folded ROPS.

The middle setting has no protection, thats why kubota makes it fast and easy to fold. Also never where your seatbelt when the R.O.P.S. are folded down.
