Im looking at a small compact or a sub compact. Ive already got a Kioti RX 66 hp tractor for big duties, Im looking at a small tractor for the house, main duty will be mowing, but I'll use the loader quite a bit.

Looking at the two, besides price is there a reason to go with the MH? They're about the same size, but the XJ has much better lift capacities. Is there anything the makes the MH better or worth going to over the XJ?

If you want a backhoe it's a lot less expensive to go on MT125 vs XJ.

Otherwise larger tires, more ground clearance, heavier overall machine, ~1 more PTO HP, better front/rear lift capacity on XJ. I had no problem using a 5' light duty rotary cutter on my XJ2025H

Ive got a backhoe on my Kioti, I dont need nor want one on this Tractor, **** I wasnt even planning on getting a bush hog on it, the kioti does that as well. Like I said, its going to be used as a mower and use the loader quite a bit.

If price is not in the equation, go with the xj2025, just for the previous mentioned difference in specs. Absolutely nothing wrong with the MT, would probably make a better mower, but you say you will be doing a lot with the loader....

My dealer said that the MMM on an XJ you can drive over to install, but not a MT. Don't really know myself.

The LS website does say the XJ2025H mower is drive over. The MT125 is not. If price is not an issue and you are not concerned about the extra weight of the XJ2025H on your lawn then I don't see why you would go for the smaller machine. The XJ2025H also has a standard SSQA attachment on the loader which is not an option on the MT125.

The 2025 drive over deck is really nicely made and looks sturdy as can be. But it is REALLY expensive for what it is. Mid $3k neighborhood. Probably a lot better ways to get a 60" cut..... If ground clearance for your terrain is an issue and you will be on/off with the deck frequently to switch from mowing to FEL work, that's something to consider. 2025 doesn't have tons of ground clearance and MMM makes that less. Would imagine MT125 would be worse with smaller tires and have less clearance. Nice flat area wouldn't much matter...

Well after getting some local pricing, some how the comparable BX and B series Kubota are cheaper, by about a grand. Never would've guessed, when I bought my Kioti, Kubota was 15-20% higher than the comparable LS and Kioti.
