i need help finding the timing for removing the injector pump

Buy a service manual. It's well worth it. The front timing cover needs to come off, then there are timing marks on the gears. Remove sheetmetal, radiator and front axle pivot.

Do i have to pull the crank pulley and all that. i have a manual ordered but i will take a week to get here. thanks

Yup, pull the crank pulley. That's why the front axle has to come off. Engine needs to be at TDC. Then your marks should line up on the geartrain. Turn in the pump lock bolt and take it off. You should wait for the manual.

What happened if you don't mind? Ar eyou sure it's the pump?
Water will do a number on the Delphi pumps pretty quick.

Check price on a new pump before you pay to get it rebuilt. I found it was cheaper to get one through AGCO that have our local shop rebuild it.

Well the lift pump is supplying lots of fuel to the injection pump but no fuel going to the injectors. About how many hours labor do you think this calls for. i dont no how to bid it. And yes i will definately wait on the manual. the pump is gonna run me anywhere for 600 to 1200 to get rebuilt just depending on the damage inside the pump. thanks for the help
