I've got a MF50 Industrial TBL (Perkins AD4.203) and the clutch won't disengage. I can feel what I think is normal clutch pressure on the pedal. Between the shuttle shift lever, L-H range lever, and gear shift lever, I can get any 2 into position but not the 3rd, all the 3rd lever does is grind. I can select low range, forward or reverse, and then cleanly and quickly bump it into 1st gear and it goes, but the clutch does nothing. I have to bump it out of gear or kill it to get it to stop. It has been sitting since last fall and I am wondering if it is possible for the pressure plates to be rusted together? and if so, can I free them without splitting the tractor? Any suggestions?

Must be mechanical shuttle I'm guessing. It is possible to free them without splitting. I drive in a higher range with clutch pushed then jam the brakes hard. Sometimes it woorks, sometimes it doesn't. Sounds like it hasn't been stuck long so you may get lucky. Some may tell youo to drive against something that wont move, I've had bad experience with this method.

Yeah, I've got zero brakes on it. That is why I wanted to move it so I could replace the brakes. Yesterday I managed to jam it into lo range 3rd gear and rammed it into a bank, no change.... sucks!!!

The loader and backhoe on this are pretty big. Removing them will not be easy.
