MF40 and MF54a Backhoe campatibility

Hello I recently aquired a MF40 with a loader and found a MF54a backhoe attachment that came off a MF50C I believe it was. I thought it would be a compatible loader for the tractor and bought it, but it looks as though the mounting holes will not align. What needs to be done for these to work together or will they?
