Tractor
massey 35x
Hi everyone, im a newbie to tractors but could do with some advise. I have a massey 35x of which i believe is standard. I have recently had my trailor taken away to be refurbished, so i have borrowed a trailor from a local farmer. Problem is his trailor has quick release hydraulics for the tipper. My tractor has the old style fitting ( I think its called dowty? ) How can i convert my tractor on a budget? someone has told me to get another dowty connector, and a quick release connector, and this will screw in to the dowty connector and work. Is this true? and are all quick release fittings the same fitment on to trailors?

thanks for any advise

G'day and :welcome: best thing to do is to convert your couplers over to the standard type couplers that way any new gear you buy will plug straight in. Dont know over there but here there are a few companies that do a kit with double acting couplers and a mounting bracket for about $100
