Does anyone know if these wheels are the standard ones off an Industrial MF. I know the hubs and axles are different to a 135, which shares a lot of parts with my 2203, but these wheels and the rear axle are different.
Are the lugs for fitting double wheels? Also which other MF tractor would share my 2203's axle. Wording appears to say McConno or something
Well I have searched the internet and not come across any rims the same or on a Ferguson Industrial.
The rear axle is of course more severe duty than a standard 135, which shares a lot of parts etc. However the rear axle hubs and bolt centres are what I need to know in case I spy some spare wheels and tyres. Especially if they are standard Industrial rims/ wheels from 1968/69.
I was hoping someone on the forum would be able to help.
Surely they aren't the only wheel out there the same as these rears??????
I've even looked at images for 165's 185's and the like to see what from MF is the same, but I can't suss any matches!
It is now believed that these wheels were standard on the MF20 industrials and that the lugs are MOLCON and were brazed on for other wheels or attachments.
The 2203 has wet brakes that makes it different to the 135, but more in keeping with a 65/165 model??
The part numbers are shown on the axle casing, so if anyone can confirm this please as I don't have those parts books.
Originally power steering would have been fitted and I now know what is believed to be the steering pump
The army vehicle data plate is all a little more visible now
Does anyone know what the picture shows next as it looks like a lever is missing from a splined rod / linkage on the rear axle
