After ordering and being sent the wrong fuel sender for my MF135 fuel tank, i though I would post the pertinent data.
My MF135 has a larger capacity tank. There is a regular tank and the large capacity tank, the sender should match the type of tank.
The Original sender on my large capacity tank had a travel distance of 200mm +-5mm
I ordered a BareCo Sender which is the sender for the regular capacity tank. This sender had a travel distance from the bottom of the float from full to empty of 110mm +-5mm
A Sparex unit which is designed for the large capacity tank had a travel distance of 190mm +-5mm. This is the one that matches the orignal meter and sender and is the one I will use.
They are all 30 ohm sender units. I pressume that the original is 30 ohms but mine is broken so I cant measure the resistance of the sender POT.
Please add data for your sender types, including the resistance of the sender and the meter. Its all useful data for quick checks.
