Hi folks,
I'm looking for some help from MF 135 owners! My question relates to the instrument panel assembly. It seems there is a chance that the instrument panel is basically two assemblies. One (what I call the 'upper panel') has all the gauges, throttle lever, Multi-Power lever, steering wheel shaft. The second assembly (what I call the 'lower panel') has decals/name plates. It seems the two panels are only joined together by a clip (about 2 inches long) that is center line of the tractor. The sides of each panel are independently fixed at each side of the tractor by bolts.
The tractor voltage regulator is basically behind the lower panel. Being able to remove only the lower panel for access would be very convenient vs removing both upper and lower panels if they are in fact permanently joined together by the clip.
Anyone have any experience removing just the lower panel or do both panels have to be removed because they are permanently clipped (as in welded) together. OBTW - all of the MF 135 parts and assembly books I have looked at do NOT show two separate assemblies.
Any help, thoughts, recommendations much appreciated.
