Hi,
I have a MF1245 loader on a MF 1250 compact 4x4 tractor. I was mowing with a 5' brush hog and using the loader bucket to push saplings over. The engine started to overheat and I lost all hydraulics (the brush hog went to the ground and loader did not work at all). I let the engine cool off and restarted engine, still no hydraulics. I dropped the mower and drove to house (luckily loader was about 3 feet off ground). I tried to work loader a bit but it would do nothing. Then while I had the control lever up, so as to lower the bucket, THE LOADER WENT UP and continued going up when I pulled the lever back down. The bucket hit the header above my garage door. I shut the engine off before much damage was done to garage and waited for loader to come down on its own. Again it would not go up or down. When I disconnected the loader from hydraulic system, the three point hitch worked again. This tells me the system is one loop and something in the loader control is blocking flow to three point and to loader. Has anyone experienced something like this? What is best way to disassemble loader hydraulic control?
Thanks
