Comparison MF gc2300 compared to Kubota b7510

I went to look at two used tractors today. Both 4wd with loader.
I liked the MF but am concerned with the ground clearance. It seems kinda low. It has turf tires on it, I am trying to find out if I put tractor tires on it will it raise it some? He's asking 9500.00 it has 190hrs., any pricing points? He's selling box blade, scraper blade, and aerator seperate. I think he's negotiable.
Also looked at Kubota b7510. He's firm on 9500.00 but he has no implements to offer. It seemed to have more ground clearance it has 160hrs on it and has tractor tires on it already.
I hunt and am looking for something to keep my trails cleared and also have 10 acres that I've been cleaning up.
I've called about a Mahindra 2615. Waiting to hear back. I know it's the next size up but is it a big difference and worth it? He's asking 10,900. It has 220 hrs. and a FEL.
Looking for some good advice.

I would take the MF GC2300 off the list. Ground clearance cannot be raised with ag tires. A skid plate/guard is needed to protect the HST filter & cooling fan. Even then, doing a lot of bush work something will find it's way in.

Are the 7510 and 2615 gear or HST? Take a look at the Mahindra, size does matter.

+1 what DMW said. GC2300 is a good little unit, but it's not the one for the kind of work you want to do. Quite honestly, while the B7510 has more ground clearance, it's still a very light tractor. If your work is "cleaning up" overgrown property and trails in the woods, that's rough duty work and the larger you go, the more productive you'll be. If you can find something in decent shape with 30-40 hp, it would make a huge difference in what you can accomplish.

My first tractor was a new 2005 Kubota B7510 HST with the LA302 FEL (4-ft bucket, 800 lb lift to about 8 ft height). Paid $12.6K plus tax. Traded it in 3 years later for a 2008 Mahindra 5525 (54 hp engine, 45 hp pto, 2WD, gear tranny 8F/2R, power steering) with the ML250 FEL (6-ft wide bucket, 2950 lb lift to 10.5 ft). Trade-in on the B7510 with about 170 hours was about $8K. Private sale on that Bota probably would have brought $9K or so.

I used that 7510 on my 10 acres (flat pasture) for mowing and general cleanup. I traded up to the 5525 when I decided to become a hay farmer (in training) and needed a tractor to handle my Massey Ferguson 124 baler (2 twine, small square bales). And these little tractors can be tippy, so be careful when mowing slopes or working trails.

I was never too impressed with the amount of ground clearance on that Kubota B7510, but since my place is flat, ground clearance is not an issue. It would not be my first choice for working trails in the woods.
