Planters MF Corn Planter

Hello, I have the opportunity to buy a MF 39 corn planter. Any comments on this model? It looks to be complete, but I don't have much experience with planters. Has anyone planted pumpkins with one?

Here's mine.

Plates are hard to come by. Lincoln Ag has a few, but not a wide variety. Some pop up on EBAY from time to time. MF/AGCO dealers may have a few in old stock. Good luck with that.

Otherwise a good planter. Keep fertilizer box clean and well oiled when not in use.

Never planted pumkins with mine.......

Thanks for the information. My local MF dealer says that most of the parts have been discontinued. There are a few plates that the seller had hanging on the wall that are for the planter. They look to be plastic.

By the way, your planter looks pretty good.
