MF 4710. Feedback

Interested in this 4710. Looking for feedback. Considering a purchase just don稚 want problems like. My orange tractor.

Slice, there are lots of responses with regards too the 4700 series much of it is with the 4707 which is basically the same tractor and engine as the 4710 only tuned differently. Most of it is good except for the one with that I believe is called the 4709 nightmare. I’ve had good luck with the 3 Masseys I’ve owned. 231S, 243 and currently a 2606h. I’m not a full time farmer and the fellow w the 4709 is. I understand his frustration. Do your homework the best you can. Make sure you have a great dealer for after the sale. We have all the different colors of tractors all within fifteen miles of each other. The Massey and the NH are probably the two best, the NH also sells mahindra. We also have the 2 Orange colors here and they’re both pretty good. I think it’s a great series of tractor and the dealer around here has sold a lot of them, he says they don’t see a lot of issues with them. Best of luck. Let us know what you decide.

What is your workload/uses for the 4710? Most likely implements? Are you thinking new or used ? Hilly or mostly flat ground?

I have a MF2660 since 2011 which was very troublesome initially and is now a real workhorse that I have grown to love.

In the long run AGCO stood behind everything and made it right. With the bugs fixed it is extremely reliable now.
