Hello all, I am looking seriously at a MF 2705E but when I went to look at one at my local MF dealer it said that it was made in Indonesia. Others I had seen a few months back were marked made in Japan. Is there a quality difference between the two countries of origin? I am a little concerned with the 8x8 shuttle vs a 12x12 would it be any better to go with the 3 speed HST? Lastly are there any known issues with the 2700E series or loader?

The 2700 series tractors are nice, no frills tractors. I'm not a big fan of HST because it robs alot of horsepower. They do not have DPF filter which is nice. In that size tractor, the 4707 ROPS model would offer a 12x12 transmission which is a nice option as well

Quality appears to be the same - I'm sure the Iseki would make the Indonesia factory follow the same practices as the Japan factory.

We ain't hardily worked on either so we are not seeing anything from either factory. Been super dependable products all the Massey Ferguson Products.

Well I pulled the trigger on a 2706E and it was delivered Saturday. I could not be happier with my decision. Below are a couple of pics.
