We rebuilt the power steering cylinders on my MF 253. One is still working good but the other one is leaking internally making it impossible to steer the tractor. Whichever MF engineer who abandoned the older reliable power assist system in favor of this pure hydraulic steering system ought to be drawn and quartered. Why argue with success? Why fix something that isn't broken? Anyway, a new cylinder costs $190, which is outrageous. Do any of you know where I could find one at a more reasonable price? I would even consider a good used one. Thanks.
