MF 240 with loader issues

One of my older customers asked me to come tow this out of his driveway. I towed it home. I put a battery in it and it fired up and runs like a top. I dont know its history but I've been watching it for about 3 ｽ years.

It has a problem. It has a pump on the front of it that I think drives the front end loader. It is making one heck of a noise. Do yall know what it is called? Is there an online manual pdf? Here are some photos. I noticed that the front end loader says 232 on it but the tractor says 240.

Ok, I can see that the pump is crankshaft driven. Is this an easy pump to rebuild or should I replace it? What can I expect to pay for a pump or rebuild if I can not do it myself?

First thing I would do is remove filter and check to see if there is oil at the filter, if there is get a new filter and change it try and put oil in filter before assembly and if you can prime the pump, not knowing what the sound is like it could be cavitation or if it was run to long w/o oil the pump could be bad if you start it to check do not run at a high rpm. BTW it looks like the suction hose has a clamp it the top this would be a good place to fill the pump with oil to prime it so it won't run dry.
