MF 20C questions

I am looking at a 1976 MF 20C industrial that is for sale. From what I can find it should have a Perkins 42 hp engine, live pto, 8x2 transmission. The one I am looking at has rops and r4 tires that are about 20% so they would need replacing, the front tires look good. It has 1300 hours on it ans appears to have been stored inside. It has one remote that looks different from most remotes in that it has two handles. They are asking 3800 for it is this reasonable?

I am looking to use this to replace an 8N. I really wanted a machine with a loader but none are affordable for me. The main selling point for me is the rops. I also would like to be able to use my 5' rototiller on this tractor because it does me no good with the 8n. Is it geared low enough?

Some questions about the tractor. Does anyone have a 20C and how do they like it? There are no posts about 20C's that I could find so I was wondering how common this tractor was. It seems that most parts in it are interchangeable with other models. Does this machine have a differential lock? I would really like one because it makes a 2wd tractor a much more capable machine. Any help is appreciated.

The engine is a continintal gas not a perkins. Does anyone have any experiances with the 245 the 20C is the industrial version of the 245. Is the 245 a good machine does it have any problems? Anyone know anything?

I have a MF 20C that I inherited from my father-in-law. It has a 45 horse Perkins with loader. He was a heavy equipment operator and he put it though the mill. The engine has performed flawlessly for 30 plus years. The only problem now is that it leaks hydraulic fluid everywhere, the PTO, wheel bearing, hydraulic cylinder, hydraulic lines etc. I can't say enough good things about the engine, though.
