Hi. I have a MF 165 with a MF 32 loader. Pump on front of engine (perkins) I added a BRADCO 9MD backlhoe and was trying to power if off the loader pump. Dealer said to run pump to backhoe first, then to loader. I did that and now I have no hydraulic pressure at all. None. What did I do? I am at a loss to diagnois the problem. Did i sear some pin in the pump or what?? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Whatever you do, you need to use the PB port with adapter from the first valve to feed the next valve and run all tank lines to tank.

Logically, you would make the loader valve first in series flowpath and the BH OUT hose would go to tank, if you do not need the 3pt.

If you have a 3pt Bh, then your BH valve needs a PB port to complete the installation.

Did you deadhead the pump?

Sounds like you plumbed the two valves in parallel with two return lines instead of series with one return line. Three point should be running off internal belly pump so it should be no concern.

Thanks for the answers. A few things to help further explain and help with an answer.
The MF 32 shows no power beyond port. I found a post here that referenced part numbers for an internal plug and an out port replacement for a plug. Pics and all in the MF manuals. I called my local dealer, no such part per dealer. He advised to plum from front loader pump to BH, then out of BH to loader in pump port. from there the loader valve empties into tank. one circle. PUMP to BH - BH to LOADER - Loader to Tank - and the pump draws the fluid from the tank. When questioned, the Dealer replied that he has "been doing this for 30 years" nuf said................. HELP. could I have lost the pump prime when I did this???
THanks again.

if you use power beyond, your valves will be in series but still have two return lines, one from each valve. My guess is the dealer told you to feed the backhoe first, because your loader valve is old enough that it doesn't have power beyond available. Hope you get it figured out.

Didn't catch your last post until I posted this one.

Check to see if you have flow and pressure.

Just to be clear, did he say to connect the BH OUT hose to the IN on the loader.

If so, ask him the OUT port pressure rating. Most OUT ports are rated for about 500 psi.

If the port can withstand 2000+, then go for it.

Yes, you can loose prime. Try adding some air to the tank, low pressure

Thanks and you are correct. No Power Beyond on a MF 32 loader. Note though, on a 32a there is power beyond and the valves appear the same!
mf 32 is part #708 583 M91
dont know the mf 32a part #

Thanks
