MF 1643 comming tomorrow

I have bit the bullet and bought a new 1643 cab for our vineyard. Seem to fit the bill for our work. Also has a FEL . Dont think this is overkill for us.Was using a 135 that we bought new back in the early 70s and will still be using it for prunning as it is set up for the mech prunner. Went with the cab unit to stay dry from the air blast sprayer mainly. Took advantage of the 0-72 mth program too. Dealer was good to work with. He came out on Saturday while they were closed to show and let us try the tractor out being it had just arrived on that morning.Called him today which his dealership is about 30 miles away and he said no need to come back that they will bring it and the paper work to our farm.Now if his service dept is as good as his sales dept we will be cooking with grease as they say.

Hi. Congrats, it is a very nice and functional tractor. I love my new 1643, I go and wish it good night every evening before going to sleep

If it is HST you'll be surprised how fast it stops if you release the pedal too fast but it is smooth if you release it slow. Be shure to use the good range of speed not to damage your clutches. Have fun and be safe.

Ok guys just got in from the vineyard and its late. 1643 didnt get here till about 4:40 pm. It is a dream come true.I cannot believe how strong it is pulling a box blade after using a 135 for years. No strain whatsoever pulling the box blade full of dirt. Would not trade the cab or four wheel drive for nothing. The dealer was right on time and would recommend him to anyone in NC looking for a Massey. FEL works great and is the first one we have owned. Big day today because it has been forty years since a tractor has been delivered to our farm.In the early 70s when i was just a child my dad and I went to the Massey Ferguson dealership and bought a brand new 135 diesel with power steering and after farming for years with a Super A it was like driving a rolls royce. Cant hardly wait until tomorrow
