MF 1533 weight?

Is the 2844 lbf weight spec for the 1533 in the Massey literature correct? I checked one out in person today and it doesn't look 630 lbf lighter than a Kioti DK35 or 400+ lbf less than a kubota 3430. Maybe the red paint was skewing my 'mental scale' /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif. The tractor seems like a pretty nice piece. The weight number just didn't jive with my expectation when doing the inevitable spec comparison.....

This is the third series of MF compacts that have had numbers like that. I truly don't know if that number is with or without the tires and wheels. I know that there has been more that one manufacture that has not put those items in the weight number, because that is the way they are shipped. The tires and wheels are separate.

That number is not correct. The weight listed is less wheels and tires. There is a later version of literature that has the correct weight listed. Off the top of my head, I believe it is around 3200 lbs with R4 tires.
