MF 135 HYLOMAR BLUE

Hi i have a 135 massey ferguson I am about to join the axle to the gear box I have a metal gasket from massey dealer but what i don't know is Hylomar blue gasket jointing compound is it ok to use for for this join

any help will be much appreciated

I use Permatex Aviation Sealer (non hardening) almost exclusively on this type of joint...

As with any sealer just wetting surface is usually enough....
