I bought my Massey Ferguson 1225 a few months ago and this problem started intermittently but now it happens all the time. It won't shut down when turning the key switch to the off position. I took the covers off over the weekend and checked the wiring behind the console panel where the key switch is and everything seemed ok. Just checked for something loose, nothing found. I don't have a parts manual yet so I didn't really know what to look for other than something obvious. I understood from talking to one of the mechanics at the dealer where I purchased the tractor that it's probably a loose wire or the fuel shutoff solenoid. I just read in another post where it may be the solenoid timer relay. Not sure where this is. Could be one of those small black boxes behind the console cover. Anyone have any ideas what it may be? Also, where can I get a parts manual for this tractor? I've searched the internet but couldn't find any for purchase. I'd at lease like to find a wiring diagram. Any help is much appreciated.
Thanks.
