do you have a service manual? tools? are you generically 'handy' ?
if you answered yes to those.. it will likely only be a temporary pain in the wallet as you hit yer dealer, get the bearings and seals needed to fix her up.
since it's 4wd.. it will be more spendy than 2wd.. might involve some shafts and split rings and such.. probably a front sump flush, and the biggest expense may depend upon the condition of that front spindle, and if the hub died or the spindle or both.
obviously things like a floor jack, stands and cribbing will be needed..e tc.
