Metal sunshade for a Kioti DK40se??

I would like to buy a quality made Metal sunshade for my 2008 Kioti DK40se.Could someone please post some websites that sell these?Thanks,coobie

I haven't heard of a metal version. I have the plastic (polyethylene?) Kioti sunshade and can attest that it is pretty darn tough. I've had 2-3 inch tree branches whack against it after they were tensioned by moving them with my loader and it made a loud noise but did no harm.

I dont have a pic of mine but I have an aluminum diamond plate top on 1" tubing. I think it was around $450. Got it at the dealer.

Is there any reason why you want a metal one instead of the factory plastic one?
I know you will get more noise with metal.

We carry a metal one, orange. they work well, but would be expensive to ship I think. there is an insulation material on the bottom to absorb noise and they are about 100 cheaper than Kiotis. I probably have one in stock to fit that tractor.

Rick,the reason I want metal is that I also have a section of property I own about 50 miles from my house that I would tow my Kioti to.I was told that the factory Kioti sunshades would not withstand the 55-60 mph highway speeds and get ripped off,that is the reason I was looking at buying metal.What are your thoughts?Thanks,coobie.

Hmmmm... Off the records my Chevy dually pulling a DK40SE with a factory canopy hit speeds in access of 75mph and when I got to the customers house everything was still there even the added work lights.
Shhhh.. just don't tell Islandtractor.

Just make sure you keep your mounting bolt tight.

Don't think I did not notice that the tractor was loaded facing forwards! I assume it was the backhoe that made it necessary . But Rick is completely correct, the sunshade was in perfect condition on arrival after a 300 mile trip on major high speed highways with a maniac at the wheel.
