Yep, my first concern when I'm crawling under the tractor, greasing zerk fittings or mucking out the barn, is how stylish I look! Does my lucky Snoopy sweatshirt, tastefully sown shut with 20# monofilament (with sinkers still attached!) count?

It has been hot I substituted a straw hat for the seed corn ball cap. It is a lot cooler. It even has the little green plastic visor that my grandad's had that I made fun of when I was a kid.

My donkey ate a big chunk out of my fav straw hat. Looks excellent now!

I either wear my semi-thrashed bibs or pairs of old jeans.. and the grease stained pocket tee. if it's a particularly bad job.. an old set of coveralls ( monkey suit ) over that. hat is a medium brim cotton fishing cap that folds up on the sides like a safari hat

When I was a kid, I made wise cracks about dad and his bibs. The old guy wouldn't go out the door without them. Now my kids and grandkids make the same wise cracks....

I've realized that somewhere along lifes way, I've became my dad.....

And I'm dang proud of that fact.

Latest cap is a Southern States Co-Op hat, navy blue with red and white lettering. I'm also known to wear an Australian Bush Hat in sunny weather.

And there's this one old pair of bibs hanging in the garage. They're my painting outfit. They'll dang near stand up on their own, maybe 20 or 25 paint jobs have made them kinda "crusty", and a bit red, blue, green, silver, black, orange, grey, white, and yellow.

that southern states hat you have.. it wouldn't be the same southern states people that make the feed.. if so.. that's my BACKUP hat when the other one is too dirty to wear..!!

My rotary cutter ate the chunk out of mine after the branch knocked it off my head, it doesn't look so excellent though.

In this weather, I wear as little as possible- mostly to protect my moving parts from moving parts.

And, hey, lady, if you don't like what you see, then DON'T LOOK!
