I just wanted to send out thought's and prayer's to our service men and women today. They put their lives on the line so that we can continue to live free. Many never returned, it is those we honor today.
Growing up during the Vietnam war and then the current Iraq situation sure puts life in perspective. People can debate wether we should of been in either place but none can doubt the dedication of the men and women who served there.
My father was a Navy man back during Korea. I had an older brother in the Army just after Vietnam. Now as a parent of an active duty Marine it brings the whole freedom and dedication to God and country into perspective. I have done more praying in the past 5 years then in the previous 47 years. Now looking back on my life I wish at the time I would of had that courage to also of served.
