Thats a good point, and I think that it would be nice. I also kind of wish they would add instant messaging so you can ask someone a question live, if you know that they are online. Anyways, good idea!

Isn't the private message feature the same thing ( for all practical purposes) as IM? Of course I am using an iPhone. But when I get a PM, I have an alert feature that shows I just got a PM.

I think that they are more like an email, and when I access TBN from my ipad I know what you mean, but from my Mac, there is no alert. I was thinking more like IM, but i'm not sure if thats what it was supposed to be?

Well I think both are good ideas. I would suggest sending Muhammad a PM asking him to consider adding those features. He has told me in the past that he doesn't have control over the iPhone app, other than offering suggestions. But I do believe they can tweak the forum site. Since this is your party - Mr OP, you can have the honors if you like
