Well it happened today /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif. I turned on the key and waited for the glow plug light to extinguish. Light out, rotate key to ingnition...nothing /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif.

Well I've read enough posts on TBN to say hmm, maybe I got a loose/disconnected wire. I'm very careful about going going over stiif brush but yesterday all I drove over was some Oregon Grape and low cut Huckleberry (8").

So I crawl under the tractor and there they are, two barrel connectors just hangin' out. Only black ones mind you, the corresponding orange is still connected. I must have very discerning sticks where I'm working /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif.

Gonna have to follow Soundman's advice and spend a day armoring those wires.

Yep.. The more I see messages about wires dangling from the undersides of these expensive tractors.. the more I get a mental image of an ocean line.. with a huge rubber plug stuffed in a hole in the very bottom of the hull..... with a 1000' chain attatched to the plug, and then attatched to the bottom of the hull somewhere. Just looking for -anything- to catch on...

I think the NH engineer that decided to route those wires down there, like that... should have to personally come out and fix every single one of them that comes loose...

Soundguy.. soundman.. all means the same. I have heard 'soundboy' as well. i think tha tone was meant as a bit of a slap though. Kinda conjurs up a batman /robin image.. soundguy and soundboy.. etc. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

And yes.. I've been called alot worse Probably by some people here too /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
