Mechanical thumb for Kubota B21 w BT751 hoe. Finally sprung for one

Just as an FYI, I broke down and got a BroTek mechanical thumb for my B21. The design has changed so the 3pt hitch center link is no longer used, operated and stows with one removable pin. Still bolt on.

Installed fairly easily and seems seems to do the job from what little I have done so far.

Unseen is the integral "swing arm" that controls where the jaw sits. One user precaution, with the boom fully closed, you cannot swing the jaw stowed or extended. The boom must be out a wee bit or so.

Last year I bought the Kubota one for my BX at the dealer's. Have not gotten it installed yet. Got it for over $100 off as it was their last one and they do not plan to stock them as the new BX line will come with them as a stock item.

The Kubota OEM one I have for sale/trade for $250 came with my BX25 for an additional $350 + 6% Ky tax. It fits on the BX23/24/25/23s thru the hole on the BH arm easy pease. I never used it because I ditched the BX25D1 quick.

John, Kubota didn't offer a pin on thumb with the integral dipper stick holes until the BX25D, so your thumb won't fit any earlier models. May be why you haven't had any takers yet.
