mcormick international b414 diesel help

hi i just bought a international b414 diesel tractor from a friend runs and drives good is it only issue is the brakes dont work and the steering is very lose besides that seems like a good tractor to me looking to use it to start vegtable farming this includes plowing,discing,planting,spraying,bushogging etc any information on it would really help please reply.

I wouldn't really Worry about steering too badly. My old allis has some really slop to it but it really don't effect nothing if you know how to handle it. And to me is like a cushion. If the tires get yanked you don't get it as bad
