Hi,
I recently purchased a used McMillen x2475H2 auger from an implement reseller. I attached a stump planer to it. Now whenever I touch a stump it simply stops, like it has no torque. The stump planer requires a 20gpm flow rate and I have 28gpm high flow on my John Deere 260 SSL.
I'm trying to troubleshoot this. Could it be the hydraulic motor in the auger unit is shot? I believe it's part number 89664 listed on the germanbliss website for $889.91. If the hydraulic motor is the problem can it be repaired or does it have to be replaced?
