MB Tractor in Plaistow NH

I am contemplating a new purchase from these folks in NH.

I would love to hear any user input.

I met a friend over the weekend in MA who was showing off (rightfully so)

his new B3200. He had a great review.

I Bought a BX 25 last year from them. Very satisfied with service (none need yet), whew! Have been back to the store to purchase oil, filters and ask questions. They were very helpful. My brother-in-law also bought two Kubotos from them and has had good experiences as well. Good luck.

I bought a BX1850 3 yrs ago and traded that last year for a BX25 from them.They are great to buy from and the service has been great also. I bought a front mount snow blower from them in Oct.also. I myself think they're a real good dealer to buy from.

Gave up trying to make the deal with those guys. I've since made a new friend in the business dealing with different colors. I couldn't be happier. There's something about dealing with people who actually work with equipment either logging haying etc.

Here's my new (last May) B2320 from them......I wouldn't change a thing, they were very good to deal with......Jeff Spencer is who I dealt with in Plaistow.....They had plenty to choose from and very professional......

Well, I've not really dealt with the Plaistow store, but I have certainly dealt with one of their stores closer to home. In my experience, you could walk into their dealership with enough cash in your pocket to pay list price, and would need to hound and beg their sales staff to take your money and take the time to write up the paperwork. Unfortunately..... I don't have much good to say about their competition in Milford, either.

Hopefully, the Plaistow store is better to deal with.

I have bought 3 Kubotas in the past 6 years a b2910 gr2110 and most recent a L4240. I have always given them a chance but by going to another dealer I have saved enough to get the gr2110 for free. I paid 7100 for the gr2110 and had I bought all three at MB it would have cost me that much more. I have never had to have any of them serviced as I have done it all myself. The dealer I deal with I can call and get a price and I know up front thats the rock bottom no haggle deal with MB you have to beg to get them to move at all. If you go with Barlows they can kill MB price and deliver it to your door from KY. I don't know how MB stays in business sooner or later people will catch on to the fact they are higher than anyone

When I was buying the B21 in late 2000 MB had just been sold from Mears to the new owner, I visited the Plaistow store and tested the machine, but as others have said they had little interest other than quoting list price.

I ended up buying from Larry @ East Elliot Garage in Maine, who was closer and wanted to do business. I paid a bit more than Carver Equipment quoted in NC at the time incl delivery, but I wanted to keep the business local. In the end I did save nearly $2K from the MB price. Unfortunately Larry sold to MB in 05-06 and MB acquired another dealer too in the last few years - so they are growing and no doubt have a good business.

There are few choices to buy from smaller dealers (where you deal directly with the owner) in the Northeast as they all seem to have migrated to the auto dealer approach of owning multiple stores, staff, and brands thus owning the local markets.
