So, I know there are apps that you can scan grasses/weeds/generic plant leaves/stems and get a pretty specific ID. Do they act as advertised? Which ones to do you like?
Thanks, I did down that app. Tried it a couple times last night, with mixed results. One try, 15% Bermuda grass, 12% Bahia grass, and then a ton of other suggestions; but from another angle, 70% Bermuda, like 4% Bahia. Going to play with it more, and see if it suits my uses
My wife is a Master Gardener and she uses the paid version of this App to identify weeds around our place that she doesn't already know. She said that it's very accurate.
Seems like Plantnet works best when you take multiple pictures, and ID. So, you might get 8% match, and same leaf (or bark) from a different angle will so 38% match, for the same plant.
