Max owners input please

Well just bought a 2012 Max 25 NOS (new old stock) from dealer in town. Tractor loader mower and backhoe. 2 hrs. Just under 20k.
How does everyone like the MAX series tractors
I know there a lot of comparisons out there. it is close in size to my old b7100 with power steering and 2x the hp and lift ablity.
I hope it is 2x the tractor. I put old cubby through some real ****. I bought the 93 b7100 back in 04 (tractor loader and mower) put about 1000 hrs on it sipped fuel i loved it . Just traded it for a dump trailer.

So a few questions
How does the max 25 mow
How is fuel consumption
What is over all impression of it

Would u recomend to someone in the market

My first i pression no i would not want anyone i know buy one. I want them to call me so i can go over and have fun doing there project lol
That way we can make video's and put it on youtube. My wife calls it tractor **** lol

I have the max 22. The check some of my videos you'll see some of the enormous boulders have moved with it I have the 60 inch rear finish mower a ratchet rake for the bucket and about 500 pounds and my weight box . I can't say enough good things about my tractor it does far more than I ever expected. I also have the Mahendra snowblower for it and it does a fantastic job. I did a lot of research before I bought this tractor my first inclination was to go green or orange. I just happened to look at mine by chance and I am very pleased that I did.

The rear finish mower does not mow as well as a mid mount mower. Does a decent job but I don't think is good because of the way the tires lay down the grass. Yo consumption is pretty consistent across the board for all diesel engines I believe I'm using about a half gallon per hour. Sorry for the lack of punctuation I am using Siri to write this as I drive.

I bought my Max 25 in April. It has a FEL, MMM and backhoe. Other than an assembly flaw (dealer fixed) I haven't had a problem. I'm just over 60 hours. The MMM mows the 4 acres fairly nicely at a good pace. It takes a little over a tank (about 3 gal) to get that done. The backhoe dug a nice 10X15X6 burn pit in about a day. The FEL works fine. About the only thing I plan to add is a front pointing light bar on the ROPs, and mount some rear facing lights as well. I also want to get palette forks for the FEL just because some of the stuff I have to move is over bucket length, but not the weight.

I've been looking at Mahindra for years. I think I got a good value for the price.

Sounds like we are all on the same page. I am impressed 12 hours this week loading wood from a 125ft tall tree. Only thing i realy see in bucket is small. With talking with dealer it was his impression that was done so the bucket would not be over loaded

Are the max series suppose to have a fast dump feature on the loader ?

I don't know if it is fast dump but there is a lockout to dump and the normal. The normal seems faster.

I really like my Max28 HST. I have the MMM and it mows great. The tip speed does not slow so you can mow full speed ahead even in real thick wet grass. Only issues with the mower is the upper height adjustment is not very high. The other would be the weight of the tractor for mowing. If you're lawn is soft it does sink in a bit. I also have the front bucket, backhoe and a back blade and have gotten a lot of use out of all. The wife even likes using it.

Hey Guys,

Picked up a Max25 a few months back. Purchased with MMM FEL and a few 3pt attachments.

By the time i'd gotten it home, i only had the final cut of the season to do. From a single mow i can say that the MMM is a beast. Sprays clippings 100ft easy. Mine was scalping pretty bad, but low and behold i never lowered the anti-scalp wheels. User error, and no fault of the machine. I did mow with the FEL on, knowing it was the last cut of the season i didn't want to go thru the trouble of taking it off. I only managed to destroy 2 of the wife's terracotta pots in the process... lol. The Industrial tires didnt tear up the grass like i expected... and the ground was pretty soft.

So far it's been a great machine. I look forward to sharing many more stories in the future.

I am a first time real tractor owner and had my new Max28 XL Shuttle with FEL, box blade and brush mower delivered on Friday. Had to learn how to remove and attach the three point stuff and did a little light work with the FEL just to get a feel for things. I can't praise enough the folks at Atlantic Coast Equipment in Richmond Hill, GA and especially Brad Formby for their assistance in my tractor purchase. Now comes the fun part - getting all the goodies to make it distinctly mine.
