Max 28 hard to start in cold weather

I have a Mahindra Max 28 that has started to be hard to start in weather under 70 degrees. I've ran new fuel through it figuring some water may have gotten in the fuel but it still does the same. Any suggestions as to what it may be?

****** battery I bet. I dealt with that for six months until I finally gave in and bought a new battery. I have a fancy capacitive battery analyzer and it would read the battery as good yet it would only be good for one start. A new battery in it fixed the start issue.

I can't say with any authority,

But....

Motoring the engine with the fuel shut down seems to "add heat" for the start up. Works for the B7100.

Just start cranking with the fuel delivery set to minimum, then after about 5 seconds, give it some fuel.

Worth a try...

From my perspective, 70 degrees is Warm, not cold ;-)

Do a search on my my similar problem, If same it is your fuel solenoid.

Good point Mike. I have a YouTube video on that. Check for horrible water intrusion at the connector at the ETR solenoid. Mine was covered under the warranty. If that part is the culprit, it is about $180-220 new for a genuine Mitsubishi part or $50ish for a Chinese one.

Achilles heel? I thought I was the only person in the whole world who ever had this issue.

What is the voltage measured from the starter's large battery post and the cast iron body of the starter while cranking ?

Give people simple trouble shooting instructions that will save time and money but what do they do instead ? They will instead waste hours while spending hundreds of dollars guessing by replacing random parts .
