Buying Advice Massy ferguson 596 4wd, FEL, Cab

I'm looking at a MF 596, used, 2009, 99hp, cab 4wd, still under factory warranty-- probably for just a couple more months.
Dealer wants 42K,
I did a price check and it came up with 32-38k depending on condition-
Would suit my use, (power etc.)
Don't know any thhing about MF tractors, or if this is really a fair price--

Any help, response appreciated re: price, this particular tractor-- anything I should know-- i could probably get it for 38k.

MF makes some real good tractors.how meny hours does the tractor have on it.an how much does that tractor sell for new,wich will tell you how much of a price break your getting.

The tractor has 530 hours on it.
I don't know what the new cost was, but the dealer told me north of 50K
I did an Iron Appraisal that came out as between 33K and 36.5K.
The dealer went through his Iron guide Used Tractor book while i was there today, and he came up with $41,693-- which is what he is asking.
sounds like I should pay no more than 35K
Would appreciate any and all feedback on this-- the tractor seems to be in great condition-lightly used.

How about the pricing: Iron appraisal says low of 33k, and dealer is at 42--huge difference. How do I find out what the dealer paid for the tractor 2 years ago--that would really help in this decision.

the state of al auctioned off some mf 5460 and 5465 tractors last month.they had cabs and 4 wheel drive. 2007 and 2006 models.from 500 to 1500 hrs some looked real clean.the good ones brought 27000 to 34000.i would offer 30 ,you can always go up ,but you can not go down.a few years ago the jd place had one with 365 hours 99 pto horsepower with a loader,they never could get the air fixed so they finally auctioned it for 26000. by the way the sale price is not what the dealer pays for it,it is what he sells it for.

I know none of the numbers i posted are what the dealer paid--i know the history of the tractor an this dealer sold it new 2 years ago, i'm just trying to find out what he might have paid for it at that time.

if you want that tractor offer him 30 and go home,let him think about it.negotate go slow ,there is always another one.
