massy ferguson 1705 block heater vs 2410 block heater whats the difference ?

ok guys new to the forum and new owner of a 2015 gc 1705 bought it used with 20 hrs on the clock
im looking for a block heater and noticed this

pt #4269250m91 is for the gc 2300 series 2410 etc the engine is made by iseki cylinder block #3710152m95 which uses the same size freeze plugs 36mm and 28 mm

pt#4330274m91 is for the gc 1700 series 1705 1710 etc the engine is made by iseki cyl block#3710152m96 which uses 36mm and 28 mm size freeze plugs


now both the engine block heaters are the push in design with o ring both are 36mm mounted to a plate that uses 2 bolts to bolt to the block ok
so what im asking is what is the difference in the 2 besides the price one is 120 bucks the other is 179 bucks
is one a higher wattage i dont think one goes deeper into the block because they look like the same block only difference i see in blocks is the last 2 numbers m95 vs m96
anyone know what the difference is in these 2 block heaters or is there anyone who knows the wattage?
if one is 300w and the other is 400w i dont mind leaving it plugged in for an extra 1/2 hr
id rather buy the one for 120 vs 179 wouldnt you?

The new one is 400W - otherwise I believe they are interchangeable.

well for 60 bucks more you get one that bolts over the exhaust bracket the gc 2300 block heater you will have to bolt behind the exhaust bracket
there both 400w so i ended up saving 60 bucks and buying the one for the gc 2300

It works very well by the way but don't leave it plugged in. I forgot mine overnight and I could here the antifreeze bubbling when I checked on it the next day. Didn't do my electric bill justice either

Agreed, if I leave my 2410 plugged in overnight, the temperature gauge almost shows at full operating temperature...its a small engine with a big block heater.
