Massey Ferguson Plow Point Needed...

HiFolks!

Happy Holidays! I'm new to the site and looking for a plow point and matching moldboard for a one bottom MF plow that we are restoring. I've got ads and inquiries out in many places. Part number on the back of the point is 660812 M91 which is still in the MF parts book, but obsolete. If anyone can help, please contact me. New or used is fine. Thanks very much!

First of all, your plow is just a Ferguson, not a Massey Ferguson. There is a difference. I've been down this road myself. To put it quite simply, there are no more parts being made as replacements for this plow and the new old stock parts are extremely difficult to find, but not impossible. Close though.

There is a place called Parts Depot located in Wisconsin. They stock a lot of N.O.S. parts from the different manufacturers and then sell to dealers so the dealers won't have to stock each and every last part. They only sell to dealers. If you call them, you may be able to find out if they even have what you're looking for, and if so, you can purchase through a local Massey Ferguson dealer.

The man who is truly the expert on this subject and who was very helpful to me was Scott Sweigard at Sweigard Bros. Tractor Sales in Halifax, PA. He deals with Ford, but Ford and Ferguson where once the same if you go back far enough. He knows an awful lot about the old plows and the couple of phone calls to him really educated me. He found my parts for me by calling Parts Depot.

Thank you for your comments and Parts Depot suggestion. I'll check with them tomorrow. Reason I believed it was an MF was that after the part number, it is stamped "Solid MF." Thanks again and take care.
