Massey Ferguson 65
I just purchased a Massey 65 and added a rear remote kit. I used the factory diverter valve that bolts onto the top of the transmission housing and when it's in the vertical mode the three point linkages work fine. I plumbed the top port into the positive port on a double action spool valve, then from the out on the spool valve into a quick connect fitting. I did the same thing with the return line. When I move the lever on the valve there is action in the lines but there isn't enough power to really do anything. Any suggestions on what I'm doing wrong?

Maybe internal three point linkage is shutting pump off when lift arms raise? Must block them down OR place draft control lever at top of quanrant to keep pump on all the time for external valve use. Also remember that hydraulic pump is not high volume, maybe 4-5 gallon per minute when newer tractors have 10-20 or more.
