MF 35
Hi, I have a gas powered MF35. The tractor came with the house when I bought it a few months ago so I don't know anything about it. The Diverter valve is jammed up and only allows me to use the front loader. The existing Diverter valve is the push pull type. I am unable to find another one like it but I did find one that fits but it has a lever. The one with the lever has 4 Positions with open port holes. I am not sure how to hook it up. I only have one hydraulic line that goes to the front loader. Do I just hook this line up and plug the rest of the holes? Do I need to hook it to a particular port on the Diverter valve? Please help!
Thanks,
Tim

First thing is, I looked this up and am not sure it is the correct valve for your tractor. I did not see 35 listed, only TO 35.

The valve has 4 lever positions, 1 for the three point which should be fed directly to the three point circuit internally in the valve. It also has three ports that are pressure ports depending on lever position. It also has a return port to return oil back to the sump.

If you cannot figure the circuit to use blow air in to the port in the bottom of the valve and note which port it comes out for all lever positions. Plug two unused ports and hook your hose to the valve to the third. Preferably use the two lever positions next to each other that feeds the three point.

The fourth port should blow air to a port on the bottom of the valve regardless of lever position. You may not need this port if the return is hooked somewhere else. Plug it if not needed.

Make sure the three point arms and loader are in the down position before unbolting the old valve or you may get an oil shower.

Post a picture of the loader valve so we can confirm the hydraulic circuit. You should have a return line since it should be running an open center system. This meaning oil is pumped in a circle until directed to do work by a valve.
