Can anyone help me out with this please. My MF35 tractor 3 point lift arms raise fine but won't go down. It won't go down even if I turn the tractor off. It has a front loader with a Diverter valve and it also has multi power. Any tip or advise would be very appreciated.

thanks,
Tim

On most tractors there is a valve under the front of the seat (or close to that area) that regulates the drop speed of the arms . Could someone have turned it clockwise and closed it?

Hi and thanks for your reply. I do not see any valve under the seat except for the Diverter valve. I don't have any history with this tractor as I got it with the house I recently bought. At first the Diverter valve was jammed up so I took it apart, cleaned it out, and put new o rings in it. When it was stuck, it was stuck in the loader position and I could grab the 3 point lift arms and move them freely. Once I put the rebuilt Diverter valve on, I was able to move the 3 point lift arms but they won't go down. The font loader works fine.

I forgot to mention that it has draft control lever but I don't know how to properly adjust it.

G'day if you clean up along the side of the linkage control you should see where to have the handle, been a while but I am thinking the handle closest to the seat has to be right back for the linkage to go down might need some weight on the arms to get it to lower.
