Buying Advice Massey Ferguson 240

A friend has a Massey 240 diesel 2wd with FEL for sale. I haven't looked at it yet but was wondering what a fair ballpark price would be? It seems to be in reasonably good condition? I owned a 135 and a 150 years ago and they were both very efficient and pretty reliable though limited to what that size tractor can do.
How will the 240 compare to the 135 or 150?

It really depends on the hours, and condition, but assuming its in reasonable shape, and doesn't have high hours (hard to quantify), the low end is probably around $9-10k, and the higher end maybe $15-16k.

Keep in mind that they didn't have an overly robust front end for FEL use, so you have to be a bit careful to avoid wear/damage. In general, it should do everything a bit better than a 135, but it's a very similar design so it shouldn't be night and day different.
