Massey Ferguson 240 / 245

I'm looking for a medium sized utility tractor, I'm thinking 40 to 50 HP. A local tractor yard has both a MF 240 and 245 for sale, about 2000 hours each and each has a 232 QA loader for $6,500 each. Looking at tractodata.com, these machines look pretty close in capabilites. What are the differences between these? I'm looking for something to maintain about 20 acres of tillable land, mow, pull a 1 or 2 bottom plow, disc, plant corn etc. A loader is important also. I haven't looked at these yet, but it sounds like it's exactly what I need. I'd prefer 4 wheel drive, but could live without it (just have to stay out of the swamp!)

Both are verry nice tractors and easy to work on. Are the gas or diesel? Are the loaders ran off of an internal or external pump.Either way thay would make you a good tractor.
